![]() ![]() ![]() Overall, I thought this was cute and fun and exactly what I needed to cure a day of boredom. And I know once they make up the reader is supposed to forget about it but I never really feel like it was explained why those things WOULDN’T be an issue in their relationship. I definitely feel like they spent that time to get to know each other and truly go from enemies, to friends to lovers but at the same time, when they’d be mean to each other, they really hit on all the points to why they really wouldn’t be compatible. Also while I thought Maddy and Theo were cute together, I can’t say with complete confidence that I feel like they’d make it long term. ![]() I get why it was used but I just wish she’d been a little more creative. The main thing I didn’t like were the little miscommunications that drove the plot forward and caused the “drama” for the couple basically. ![]() I love the world this author has built in this series and this great cast of characters/friends. I am a sucker for a good enemies to lovers romance and this book definitely delivered–and with a twist too! There were times where I’d get a little annoyed or bored but there were just as many, if not more, times where I smiled, laughed, swooned and even felt myself getting teary-eyed for these characters. And it’s the perfect book to curl up with. It’s a book on my re-read pile, simply because it’s such a feel-good story.
